Martin Scharrer

Martin is currently studying a PhD in electronic engineering in the field of digital controlled switched mode power supplies (SMPS). His main research area is the digital communication inside the SMPS. Martin received the Dipl.Ing. (FH) degree in electronic engineering with the specialisation in digital communication systems and a Masters (with honours) in electronic and microsystems engineering from the University of Applied Sciences Regensburg (FHR), Bavaria, Germany, in 2003 and 2005, respectively. He performed his Dipl.Ing. and Masters’ project in the Biometrics and Sensor Technology Research Centre at the FHR, where he was responsible for the converting, buffering, processing and transmission of sensor signals from a biometrical smart pen.

In his spare time he is interested in the Linux OS, LaTeX, software programming (Perl, LaTeX, ...) and computer networks. His private website is located at http://www.scharrer-online.de/.
